Broadway Records announced today that it will release a live album in September 2012 of Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes at the Café Carlyle.

The actress will make her cabaret debut at the legendary Café Carlyle in an exclusive two-week engagement, Tuesday, June 19- Saturday, June 30.  Three performances (Thursday June 28-Saturday June 30) will be recorded for the Broadway Records release.

Ms. Osnes will present an evening of songs culled from Broadway, the Great American Songbook, as well as from the worlds of jazz and folk.  During the recording dates, she will be joined by special guests Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie & ClydeNewsies) on June 28th, Tom Wopat (Catch Me If You Can) on June 29th and Max Crumm (Grease) on June 30th.  There will be other surprise special guests during the Caryle engagement.  Ms. Osnes will be accompanied by a quartet led by her Musical Director Fred Lassen on piano. Joe Langworth directs.

“Getting to perform at the Café Carlyle, following in the footsteps of women like Elaine Stritch, Barbara Cook, Christine Ebersole, Kelli O’Hara, and so many of my other idols, is nothing short of a dream come true,” said Ms. Osnes.

The album will be produced by Fred Lassen and Aaron Ankrum and executive produced by Van Dean and Kenny Howard.

Ms. Osnes will perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45PM. There is a $65 music charge ($45, bar) for the Tuesday-Thursday performances and a $75 music charge ($45, bar) for the Friday and Saturday performances. Dinner is served from 6:30PM.
