NBC's musical drama series SMASH has a particularly showstopper-filled hour coming up this week, featuring this just-released cover of Radiohead's hit "High And Dry" as performed by Jeremy Jordan.

"The best thing you ever had has gone away," sings a passionate and emotive Jordan (as Jimmy) on the track. Many SMASH fans will certainly feel the same way should the series not see a Season Three renewal at this month's upfronts (or before)!

The cryptic official synopsis of "The Phenomenon" episode is as follows: "An unexpected event bonds both BOMBSHELL and HIT LIST." Kyle (Andy Mientus)'s death, perhaps? Say it isn't so!

SMASH airs Saturdays at 8 PM on NBC.

Be sure to tune in to find out the context of this stunning cover song, which joins a Billy Joel cover, a new HIT LIST tune penned by Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman as well as a BOMBSHELL musical number with recurring guest star Bernadette Peters!
