Tonight, July 18: Jeffrey Gaines

Often times, vocalist and guitarist Jeffrey Gaines only know the first song he plans on playing for a set and from there on, chooses the remainder of his set list based on reactions and suggestions from the crowd. This unique style from the seasoned artist creates an emotional tie between the audience and his music that is rarely experienced. On the road for over 150 nights a year, Jeffrey Gaines is unquestionably dedicated to his work. After landing a record deal in 1992, his career took off with his first of five studio releases, Jeffrey Gaines. Don't miss his debut on the SubCulture stage.

Tuesday, July 29: George Tandy, Jr.

With a voice that sounds like a mix between John Legend and Ne-Yo, "Soulternative" musician George Tandy, Jr. is making waves with the recent debut radio release of "March", ranked #3 on the Billboard Adult R&B Chart. The single is currently a Top 10 song at over fifty radio stations in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Growing up in a family of artists and musicians, George was surrounded by all kinds of music from an early age; this led to him incorporating many different sounds into his own music, from R&B to Soul, Hip-Hop to Folk, and even some jazz and classical influences.
