Jeff Dunham's beloved character Achmed the Dead Terrorist gets his own animated adventure when "Achmed Saves America," created by and featuring the voice talents of Dunham, is released on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, March 18. Released by Comedy Central Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment, the DVD will be available at Walmart and major retailers nationwide. The discs are currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com.

In "Achmed Saves America," Dunham's first animated film, the Little Skeleton That Couldn't unexpectedly finds himself in Americaville, USA. There, Achmed is mistaken as a French exchange student while he bumblingly plots to destroy the town and all its "infidels"; but when exposed to the sweet things in life, including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt, Achmed's campaign of hate turns into a patriotic all-American lovefest.

Bonus features include a tour of Bento Box, the animation studio, one of the first script read-throughs, a voiceover session with Dunham, and audio commentary from Dunham and friends.

Fans can join Dunham and Achmed on Comedy Central on Sunday, March 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. as they host a marathon of Dunham's specials: "Minding the Monsters," "Controlled Chaos," and "Spark of Insanity." Throughout the evening, the pair will be answering fan questions and showing sneak peeks from "Achmed Saves America."

Dunham has been called "the most popular comedian in the United States" by Time Magazine, and has been named to Forbes' Celebrity 100 list of most powerful entertainers three years running. His entourage of signature characters includes Walter, the grumpy retiree; the beer-swilling, NASCAR-loving and resolutely red neck Bubba J; the furry and manic Peanut; José Jalapeño, the spicy pepper from South of the border; the bumbling skeletal Achmed the Dead Terrorist; the almost as dead long-lost son of Achmed, AJ; and Peanut's own ventriloquist dummy: Little Jeff.

Dunham's one-hour Comedy Central specials include "Arguing With Myself," "Spark of Insanity," "A Very Special Christmas Special," "Controlled Chaos," and "Minding the Monsters," which was watched by 5 million viewers, making it the most-watched broadcast of the year for the network. The extended DVD, featuring over an hour of extra material and bonus features, became available two days later and achieved platinum status within its first week of release.

Named the top-grossing live comedy act in the world in 2009 and 2010 by Pollstar, the concert industry trade magazine, Dunham has sold out stadium-sized shows across three continents, from the United Kingdom to Sydney, Toronto to Copenhagen. In late 2010, Dunham released his highly anticipated autobiography, "All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed and Me," which immediately landed on The New York Times best-seller list.

Dunham has made frequent appearances on "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night with David Letterman," and has also made many cameo appearances across television and film, from the Emmy®-winning comedy series "30 Rock," to the Jay Roach-directed comedy "Dinner For Schmucks," starring Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd. Up next, he will lend his voice to the animated feature film "Nut Job," which also stars Liam Neeson and Brendan Fraser. His Disorderly Conduct live show continues to make stops in the UK, South Africa, Australia, Tel Aviv, and Southeast Asia.
