Soprano saxophonist/composer and former NASA artist Jane Ira Bloom brings her trio to the December concert series at The Stone curated by Min Xiao Fen & Scott Amendola. The concert is set for December 20, 2012, at 8 p.m., featuring Jane Ira Bloom on soprano saxophone, Mark Helias on bass and Bobby Previte on drums.

She performs Singing the Triangle with long-time bandmates bassist Mark Helias and drummer Bobby Previte in the setting that improviser/ composers love most: the trio - Just enough combined rhythmic melodic interaction to fire a tune and just enough space to carve your own direction. The trio has been actively performing around the city and looks forward to a 2013 appearance at the Music of Now Marathon festival at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway, NYC on Feb 2nd.

Don't miss these seasoned sonic explorers as they navigate the space ways.

The Stone is located on the corner of Ave C & 2nd St in the East Village, NYC. Admission: $10. For information and tickets, go to www.thestonenyc.com.
