The Jefferson Performing Arts Society will be opening their 37th Season with an original New Orleans Jukebox Musical, Blueberry Hill. Written and Directed by Butch Caire. Featuring classic New Orleans R&B songs.

Blueberry Hill features classic New Orleans R&B songs made famous by local musical icons like Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Ernie K-Doe, and many others! Not a revue type show or a retelling of the history of the recording business, Blueberry Hill instead tells a new story of everyday people who find themselves dealing with love & betrayal, laughter & tears. Audiences will find themselves sharing in the joy and sadness onstage and singing along as the plot takes some unexpected twists while bringing to life the songs they know and love.

Public Performances will be held September 12th-28th at Teatro Wego! 177 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA; October 3rd-12th at Christ Episcopal School Theater 80 Christwood Blvd. Covington, LA; and Friday & Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm.

Featuring the talents of Butch Caire, Danielle Mathis, Donald Lewis, Peter Elliott, Charlene Robinson, Allee Peck, and April Louise. The creative team includes direction by Butch Caire. Musical Director is Donna Clavijo. Gwen Caire is the Stage Manager.
