JERSEY BOYS, CABARET, CHICAGO and More Set for Ruth Eckerd Hall's 2017-18 Broadway Season

Ruth Eckerd Hall announces the 2017-18 Broadway season, which includes, making its Clearwater debut, the Tony Award-winner for Best Musical Jersey Boys, along with multiple Tony Award Best Musical winners A Chorus Line, Cabaret and Chicago, family favorites A Charlie Brown Christmas Live Onstage and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella and Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles.

"We are thrilled and proud to present a wide variety of stellar musicals this season at Ruth Eckerd Hall ranging from the Tony Award-winner Jersey Boys, for the first time, to the iconic, Tony Award-winning smash musicals A Chorus Line, Tony Award-winner Cabaret and Tony Award-winner Chicago, " commented Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc. President and CEO Zev Buffman. "All of these musical miracles, along with the premiere of the family favorite, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live Onstage at the Capitol Theatre, spell out great joy. I bet you can hum the tunes and tap your feet!" Zev concluded.

Single tickets for Broadway performances are priced at $100, $75, $50 and $35. Broadway Series packages are also available. Pick five of the eight shows and save $75.

Single tickets and packages go on sale Friday, May 19 at noon and will be available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater or by calling 727.791.7400. The Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and one hour prior to show time. Ruth Eckerd Hall members may begin placing their orders based on their level of membership beginning Monday, May 8.

The Capitol Theatre, located in downtown Clearwater's Cleveland District, was constructed in 1921 and is one of Florida's oldest operating theaters. In 2015, the Capitol Theatre was named the #5 venue in the world by industry trade publication Venues Today and the #29 club venue in the world by industry trade publication Pollstar. In 2013, the theater underwent a complete renovation and is the catalyst for downtown development.
