JAMES GRACE: GUITAR HERO is all set to rescue audiences from Cape Town's cold winter nights at the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre. An hour of live music, created, written and performed by James Grace, JAMES GRACE: GUITAR HERO will have two performances only at the Mother City's most initimate theatre venue.

Acclaimed guitarist James Grace's new show, which recently debuted at the Stellenbosch University Wordfees, pays tribute to the 20th century's guitar icons and includes music by The Shadows, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and of course the Spanish greats. Featuring unique arrangements for solo guitar by James Grace, GUITAR HERO celebrates the diversity of the modern day instrument, drawing on a variety of playing techniques from an array of genres.

JAMES GRACE: GUITAR HERO runs on 31 July and 1 August at the Alexander Upstairs Theatre at 7pm. Tickets cost R80-R90 and can be booked online at the Alexander Bar website or purchased in person at the bar at any time during its regular opening hours. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Alexander Bar & Café is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
