Comedian and actress Isy Suttie (Shameless) is set to star as Phyllis Pearsall in a new musical titled THE A-Z OF MRS P, conceived by Neil Marcus with book by Diane Samuels and music and lyrics by Gwyneth Herbert.

Directed by Sam Buntrock, THE A-Z OF MRS P will begin performances at Southwark Playhouse tonight, February 20, 2014.

Suttie is a stand-up comedian, writer, musician and actor. Suttie has appeared on TV in Father Figure, Shameless, Love Matters, Great Night Out, Peep Show, The Revolting World of Stanley Brown, Skins, Whites and more.

Her BBC Radio writing and performing work includes 'The Mitch Benn Music Show', 'TILT' (BBC7); 'Out to Lunch' (BBC Radio 2); 'The Milk Run', 'The Ali Mac Music Show' (BBC Radio 1); 'The Now Show', 'The Alternative Women's Institute', 'Four on the Floor', 'Danny Robins Music Therapy' and 'Laurence & Gus: Hearts & Minds' (BBC Radio 4), '28 Acts in 28 Minutes' and 'The Dom Joly Show'.
