Idina Menzel Tweets A Behind The Scenes Look At IF/THEN Cast Recording Sessions

Broadway superstar and internationally recognized vocal artist Idina Menzel is currently starring in her hotly anticipated Broadway return via brand new Broadway musical IF/THEN and the talented triple-threat has taken to Twitter to share a behind the scenes glimpse or two at the cast recording for the show.

Menzel writes, "In studio, recording the If/Then Musical cast album."

Additionally, Menzel shared a shot of her favorite foods and drinks to imbibe when recording, writing, "Every good session needs some Girl Scout cookies 2 cups of coffee and Arizona tea."

The official synopsis for If/Then is as follows: "On the verge of turning 40, Elizabeth moves back to New York City, the ultimate city of possibility, intent on a fresh start - new home, new friends, and hopes for a resurgent career. But even in her carefully planned new life, the smallest decision or most random occurrence will impact her world in ways she never dreamt possible. Set against the ever-shifting landscape of modern day Manhattan, If/Then is a romantic and original new musical about how choice and chance collide and how we learn to love the fallout."

More information on the cast of IF/THEN is as such: "The company of If/Then features Idina Menzel (Tony Award-winner for Wicked, original cast of Rent, Disney's Frozen), LaChanze (Tony Award-winner for The Color Purple), Anthony Rapp (original cast of Rent), James Snyder (Cry-Baby), Jerry Dixon (tick, tick...Boom!, Once On This Island), Jenn Colella (Chaplin, High Fidelity), Jason Tam (A Chorus Line, Lysistrata Jones), Tamika Lawrence (Matilda), and Jackie Burns (Wicked)."
