IRTE Unleashes Another Season of Uproarious On-the-Spot Humor

One of the leading Improv Troupes in NYC, the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble, is unleashing another season of uproarious on-the-spot humor.

A busier season than ever before, the company, (Robert Baumgardner, Bill Berg, Curt Dixon and Jamie Maloney) led by artistic director, Nannette Deasy, begins a non-stop roller coaster ride that goes from January thru June.

2017 begins in North Carolina with the Happy Birthday, Stupid Kid!, at the Asheville Fringe Arts Festival: Jamie McCluskey is turning 12 and you're invited to celebrate THE BIG DAY! Jamie may be just a "stupid kid," but it's the adults who are out of control in this improvised and interactive birthday party. Avoidance! (May 19 - 27): The game show where contestants face the discomforts of everyday life, vying for the grand prize - a year alone, away from the madness of daily life. Will they succeed in avoiding their greatest fears and anxieties?

BRP II (June 16 - 24): The big get BIGGER, the rich get RICHERER, the powerful get even more POWERFULLERERER! ... but who Trumps them all? Witness the private lives of the titans of industry.
