IN THE HEIGHTS and StudentsLive Team Up for Broadway Workshop 12/13

On Saturday, December 13, 2008, from 9:15am till 11:45am, StudentsLive and In The Heights will co-produce a pre-show educational and entertaining workshop involving 400 audience members at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

This comprehensive, interactive workshop includes families, students, teachers, and Girl Scouts from as far away as Virginia, who all share an interest in learning more about Broadway onstage and off. The audience members have received comprehensive pre-workshop background information on In The Heights from Students Live's Award Winning education team and teaching artists.

StudentsLive's In The Heights Workshopwill give an insider's look into the world of Broadway and the creation of In the Heights. Hosted byTony Award-winning star of In The Heights Priscilla Lopez, Gabriella Garcia from the Broadway musical Chicago, Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz, and members of the Broadway Cast of In the Heights, the workshop will include a Q & A session, seminars on working in the theater, and the audience members will be taught a musical number from In The Heights.
