At the end of this evening, we would know who would be competing in the finale. The night started off by Candice, Kree, and Angie singing Who Says by Selena Gomez.

The final 3 then visited a high school and surprised the choir for the Ford Fiesta Idol Mission.

Round one of performances from last night were then reviewed by Jimmy Iovine. He declared Angie Miller the winner of that round, of which the songs were chosen by him. She sang Elton John's Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word.

Season 10 runner up Lauren Alaina then performed her new single from her sophomore album called Barefoot and Buckwild.

Round 2 highlights were next, with the contestants having performed songs chosen by the judges. Jimmy Iovine chose Kree as the winner, and she sang Rascal Flatts' Here Comes Goodbye.

Mariah Carey and Miguel's video for their song Beautiful premiered next.

Idol then showed a video clip of what season 8 contestant Adam Lambert has been up to. Alicia Keys then sang her new single Tears Always Win.

Round 3 performances were then reviewed (again by Jimmy Iovine), in which the producers chose the song. He declared Candice the winner.

Ryan went on to announce one of the final 2, being Candice Glover! After the break, it was between Angie Miller and Kree Harrison for the final spot in the finale, and it went to...

Kree Harrison!

Angie Miller unfortunately said her tearful goodbyes and Kree and Candice would be facing off in the finale. Tune in next week when the season 12 winner is crowned.
