Join us FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16th at 7:30 PM at WHIPPOORWILL THEATRE, North Castle Public Library, Kent Place, Armonk, NY for a stage reading of a delightful and thought-provoking new play, EXQUISITE POTENTIAL by Stephen Kaplan, directed by Stephen Nachamie.

General admission: $10.00 payable at the door. No reservations necessary. There will be a Q. and A. with the participating artists immediately following.

Thirty years ago, Alan and his wife, Laura, visit their rabbi to verify David's possible divine nature. Thirty years later, everyone older and wiser, it appears that Dad might have been on to something!

Director Stephen Nachamie is an award winning New York director who helmed Hudson Stage's terrific Spring production of ANIMALS OUT OF PAPER. His work has been seen on Broadway as Associate Director on the 2016 Tony Winning revival of SHE LOVES ME, on Film in WINNING NEW YORK, Audience Choice Award winner from the NewFilmakers NY Festival, several productions at Penguin Rep, including most recently BUYER AND CELLAR. Upcoming: BENJAMIN BUTTON.

Playwright Stephen Kaplan grew up in Northridge, CA (home of the '94 earthquake) and wrote his first play, AND JACK CAME TUMBLING AFTER (Old Globe Theater, EST, HERE/Lincoln Center) when he was 15. Other award-winning plays include COMMUNITY, A REAL BOY, FOR UNTO US (Published by Dramatists Play Service) among others.
