A starry cast will take to the stage for "Unsung: A Night of Original Song By New and Established Composers 2006: Sex, Love and Lies," which will be presented at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher St.) on October 16th at 8 PM.

In addition to fifteen young performers, the benefit concert, which will be directed by Phillip George, will feature the talents of Carey Anderson (Mamma Mia!), Kaitlin Hopkins (Party Come Here, upcoming How the Grinch Stole Christmas!), Todd Buonopane (Spelling Bee), Marcus Paul James (Rent), Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins) and Whitney Bashor.

The show, which will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Fantastic Feats Productions, will showcase songs by Andrew Lippa, Laurence O'Keefe, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, John Mercurio, Steven Lutvak, Barbara Anselmi, Hector Coris and Paul L. Johnson, Stephen Cole and Jeffrey Saver, Doug Cohen, Brian Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, Barry Wyner, Nick Blaemire, Lisa DeSpain and Kristen Anderson Lopez, Ira Gasman and Alex Rybeck, Stephen Sislen, Nathan Tysen and Chris Miller, and Kevin Laursen.  Producers Todd Adamson and Stephanie Safko will perform in the concert.

The evening will feature musical direction by Brad Vieth and Michael Rider, as well as choreography by Minami Yusui.
