Honest Pint Theatre Company is excited to announce their upcoming production of William Shakespeare's HAMLET.

This groundbreaking production will be the first time Triangle audiences have the opportunity to experience Hamlet uncut.

That's right; Honest Pint Theatre Company will be performing a complete and full version of the greatest play ever written.

Simply put, Shakespeare's HAMLET is about a young man whose father has died; his uncle, Claudius has married his mother, Gertrude and usurped his claim to the throne. Hamlet has been summoned home from school for the funeral/marriage/coronation and the ghost of his father appears and convinces him that his death was not natural. His brother, Claudius, murdered him and the ghost implores Hamlet to avenge his "most foul murder." Simultaneously, the King of Norway's nephew is marching towards Denmark with the intention of reclaiming lands lost in a battle with the deceased King Hamlet.

Something is rotten in the State of Denmark...and Hamlet has been charged with setting it right.

How do you avenge a murder while dealing with the death of your father, the marriage of your mother to your uncle, the loss of your birthright, betrayal by your friends, accidental homicide, the death of the woman that you loved yet betrayed you, and the possibility that war will break out at any minute? Come join us for this historic event and find out!

This production will be directed by Jeremy Fiebig, Assistant Professor of Theatre at Fayetteville State University and feature David Henderson (Hamlet), Simon Kaplan (Claudius), Tamara Farias (Gertrude), Mark Phialas (Polonius), Vera Varlamov (Ophelia), Wade Newhouse (Laertes), Mike Raab (Horatio), Jim O'Brien (Hamlet's Ghost), George Jack (Player King), Jess Jones (Player Queen), Brook North (Rosencrantz), Chris Milner (Guildenstern), Aaron Alderman (Gravedigger) and Liz Carter (Voltemand).

The production will be designed by Shannon Clark.

Hamlet will be performed Fridays-Sundays, July 15th thru July 31st in the Leggett Theatre on the campus of William Peace University. (Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m.)

The ticket prices are $12 for students, senior citizens, Military and anyone under 25 years of age. All other tickets are $20. You can purchase tickets here: https://honest-pint-theatre-company.ticketleap.com/hamlet/
