The hit off-Broadway show The Accidental Pervert, written by Andrew Goffman and directed by Charles Messina is proud to announce that it will open another production in Switzerland in October of 2014. This will be the third overseas incarnation of this play, with previous productions having been mounted in Argentina and Panama.

The Accidental Pervert is a funny and unexpectedly warmhearted coming of age story about one boy's chance experience finding his Dad's adult video collection and how it affected the way he viewed women, sexuality and himself. Playwright/Actor Andrew Goffman takes his audience on a hilarious journey that ultimately illuminates his struggle to define what it means to be a man, from puberty into adulthood. The show has been running for five years, since opening in NYC in 2009.

Andrew Goffman has performed in 150 comedy clubs, including Caroline's, Catch A Rising Star, The Comic Strip, Rascals and across the border in Canada's popular Yuk Yuks. As an actor, Andrew was seen for nearly a year at New York's Soho Playhouse in the Off-Broadway hit Grandma Sylvia's Funeral.

Director Charles Messina is best known for his work on the off-Broadway hits Cirque Jacqueline, the one-woman show about the life of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Mercury: The Afterlife and Times of a Rock God, about the life of rocker Freddie Mercury.Messina's play A Room of My Own, starring RalphMacchio and Mario Cantone is currently being developed for Broadway.
