Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, follows up on the success of their 2015-16 season opener, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, with Neil Simon's award-winning classic, THE ODD COUPLE.

After their fed-up wives throw them out, slovenly sportswriter Oscar Madison and uptight Felix Ungar decide to move in together. Throughout a series of hilarious interchanges, these mismatched roommates teach each other about life, love and the meaning of friendship. Filled with witty dialogue and hilarious one-liners, THE ODD COUPLE remains one of Simon's most recognizable works and one of the greatest stage comedies ever written.

THE ODD COUPLE will run October 15 - November 1, 2015 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City). Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Press night for THE ODD COUPLE will be Friday, October 16, 2015. Single tickets range in price from $25 - $48 and are available now by calling 650.349.6411 ext. 2 or visiting www.hillbarntheatre.org.

Says Hillbarn Theatre Executive Artistic Director Dan Demers: "Neil Simon is one for the foremost story tellers. We are so excited to bring this iconic, award-winning story to life on the Hillbarn Stage. Armed with a wildly talented cast and production team, this show is sure to be a treat for all theatre goers!"

THE ODD COUPLE features a cast of eight actors led by John Maio* as Oscar and Conrad Cady as Felix. Joining them are David Blackburn, Evan Sokol, Andrew Engdahl, Galen Poulton, Stephanie Crowley and Nicole Martin.

Directed by Michael Sally, the creative team for THE ODD COUPLE includes stage manager Danielle Santana, scenic designer Kuo-Hao Lo, lighting designer Christian Mejia, costume designer Mae Matos and properties designer, Alexandra Nemchik.

Since 1941, the historic Hillbarn Theatre has served the San Francisco Bay Area by embracing this founding ideal - to create theatre with the community, for the community, striving always for excellence in production and education. Hillbarn has won a Theater Critics Circle Award, was accepted at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, was honored with several mayoral proclamations for excellence in theatrical production and education, and received three Dean Goodman Awards for Artistic Excellence.
