Hiddleston Talks Captain Hook Role In Disney's THE PIRATE FAIRYInternational rising star Tom Hiddleston is currently preparing to play the title role in Shakespeare's CORIOLANUS in the West End and attended the GQ Awards in promotion of his many upcoming projects among them, Marvel's THOR: THE DARK WORLD and Disney's new animated feature film THE PIRATE FAIRY, in the latter of which he plays another famous anti-hero - none other than Captain Hook, of PETER PAN fame.

Commenting on his involvement with the project, Hiddleston demurely says, "It's just my voice - it's Disney animation. It was a fun thing to do."

As for participating in a Disney project and playing such a hallowed character, Hiddleston shares his excitement, relating, "Six-year-old Tom's mind would be blown!"

He adds, "I have young kids in my family and it's going to be really nice to sit and watch it with them."

Hiddleston adds, "Their minds will be blown by that."

THE PIRATE FAIRY co-stars Christina Hendricks and is expected to be released in 2014.
