'Hidden Treasures II: Songs of Larry Kerchner' Set for Stage 72 Tonight

"Hidden Treasures II: Songs of Larry Kerchner" will be performed as a benefit for The Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative tonight, November 3, at 8:30 PM at Stage 72 (at the Triad), 158 West 72nd Street.

A star studded lineup of musical performers from the Broadway and cabaret stages has been lined up by producer Sandi Durell and director Raisa Katona Bennett, including Marilyn Maye, Mark Nadler, John Bolton, Laurel Masse, Amra-Faye Wright, Shana Farr, Jeff Harner, Hilary Kole, Stacy Sullivan, Karen Oberlin, T. Oliver Reid, Dennis Chiccino, Teresa Geneco, La Tanya Hall, Caitlin Kerchner and Colleen McHugh. Julia Goodwin, the 2013 Michael Feinstein HS Vocal Competition winner, will also perform. Tex Arnold is the Musical Director.

Larry Kerchner is a composer, lyricist, arranger and producer who has written more than 300 published compositions and arrangements. He is a member of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame, and has served as composer and arranger for more than 70 colleges and universities, as well as The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. In addition to the hundreds of songs penned under his own name, Larry was also the behind-the-scenes writing force of many well-known songs and recordings through his numerous works-for hire.
