The 2011 Muny Season kicked off this week with the Muny premiere of LEGALLY BLONDE (June 20 - 26). Next, the Cole Porter favorite KISS ME, KATE (June 27 - July 3) will grace the stage. Following will be the Muny and St. Louis premiere of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID (July 6 - 14), opening Wednesday, and featuring 2 extra performances! Tapping its way across the Muny stage next will be SINGIN' IN THE RAIN (July 18 - 24).

Complete casting for KISS ME, KATE has been announced!  The company will star:

The ensemble is rounded out by Amy Michele Allen, Karin Berutti, Amy Blackman, R.J. Brown, Michele Burdette-Elmore, Will Burton, Andy Jones, Ashley Krupinski, Nick Leos, Graydon Long, Samantha Massell, Alexandra Matteo, Kenny Metzger, Jordan Newmark, Kelly O'Neill, Rich Pisarkiewicz, Patrick Ross, Cara Salerno, Jack Sippel, Eric Santagata, James Tolbert, Jeanne Trevor, Zoe Vonder Haar, Lindsey Warren, and Chelsea Wilson.

KISS ME, KATE is directed by John Going and features choreography byt Liza Gennaro, music direction by Ben Whiteley, lighting design by F. Mitchell Dana, sound design by Jason Krueger, and set design by Steven Gilliam.

Rounding out the season will be LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (July 25 - 31), SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (August 1 - 7), and the season finale, BYE BYE BIRDIE (August 8 - 14).
The first day of single ticket sales at The Muny's Forest Park Box Office is an exciting day with lines forming as early at 5:00 am! Adding to the festivities will be Pepsi-Cola, Starbucks Coffee, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, North Star Frozen Treats, and The Melting Pot, as well as performances by The Muny Kids and The Muny Teens.
