The Hershey Community Chorus' spring concert, "An Evening of Broadway", will be held Friday, May 2, 2014, at 7:30 pm at The Hershey Evangelical Free Church, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown. This concert is a collection of memorable Broadway favorites from the past and present and will showcase soloists and chorus accompanied by local musicians Steve Smith on piano, Mike Yinger on bass, and Tim Rupert on percussion. Special guest soloist for this concert will be Owen Richards, a student in the fifth grade at Derry Township School District and a member of the Hershey Elementary School Chorus.

The program will open with the familiar "Give My Regards to Broadway" and include other favorites such as "Mack the Knife", "Brigadoon" , "Hello Dolly", "Wells Fargo Wagon", "Summer Nights", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Come to my Garden" along with many other well known selections.

Admission is $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for students 12 to 18 and seniors age 65 and above, and $8.00 for children 6 - 11 years of age. Children age 5 and under are free accompanied by parent or guardian. Tickets can be purchased by calling 508-4400, emailing ticket requests to info@HersheyCommunityChorus.org, and at the door on the day of the performance. The chorus is under the direction of James Hoffmann, Director of Choirs at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill.
