Harvey Weinstein Reveals CINEMA PARADISO Musical Plans & Talks Lloyd Webber CollaborationMajor movie mogul Harvey Weinstein appears alongside Hollywood heavyweight George Clooney as well as internationally celebrated composer Andrew Lloyd Webber as part of a wide-ranging new interview roundtable and the noted producer reveals preliminary plans to musicalize a multi-award-winning property in the near future, CINEMA PARADISO.

"CINEMA PARADISO is a beautiful movie - I want to do that as a musical," Weinstein reveals over the course of the wide-ranging chat.

"Maybe I can get Andrew to do it!" Weinstein offers while appearing with the famed composer himself on the show.

Provoked, Lloyd Webber replies, "It's a great idea - it's a very, very good film; great story."

Weinstein also remarks on his recent stage venture in the screen-to-stage adaptation of FINDING NEVERLAND, sharing, "I've made movies all around the world in incredibly difficult places... making a musical is worse than anything I've ever done!"

Furthermore, Weinstein adds of Lloyd Webber peerless insight into the theatrical world, "This is the man who will give you great advice."
