Lythgoe Family Productions presents Cinderella, a Modern, Musical Extravaganza! In the style of the outrageous British holiday pantomimes, Nigel, Bonnie, and Kris Lythgoe (the people responsible for So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, and American Idol) bring this wild, wacky, and adorable holiday event to the states. The age-old fairytale of Cinderella is set to modern day music with a comical twist. A talent search for Cinderella will take place over the summer throughout Los Angeles and the winner will star in this exciting production. With special choreography by Dancing With the Stars star Derek Hough, the show will blend the time-honored fairy tale with contemporary pop music and dancing, outrageous and audience-interactive comedy, magic tricks designed by the amazing Ed Alonzo, and will feature fantastic costumes direct from London. Fun for the kids, but clever enough to delight adults, it's a treat for the whole family.

THE LYTHGOE FAMILY are known for their success with television smash hit shows AMERICAN IDOL and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Although CINDERELLA will be their first venture into stage production in America, credits from Europe include, A CHORUS LINE, HALF A SIXPENCE, SNOPY, MY FAIR LADY, CHICAGO and many more.

Bonnie is a former British dancer who, since the 1990s and 2000s, has been the producer and director of various theatre productions, including pantomimes.

In 1969, Bonnie Lythgoe auditioned for the BBC's Young Generation dance troupe, which included her future husband Nigel among its members. The couple started dating, but after Nigel became choreographer in 1971, he dismissed Bonnie from the troupe. They continued their personal relationship, subsequently married and became the parents of two sons, Simon and Kristopher.

Bonnie's success as a choreographer of dance productions within the West End led to a career as a producer/director of various theatre productions, including pantomimes. She produced/directed and choreographed the Christmas 2006 version of Peter Pan, starring Henry Winkler, in Wimbledon and Cinderella, starring Patrick Duffy, in Woking. Bonnie Lythgoe came to American public attention as a producer and judge on season one of the reality television series So You Think You Can Dance. Bonnie currently serves as one of the judges on So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

Kristopher is the Executive Vice President of Magic Pictures International based in Los Angeles. TV Credits include Co-Executive Producer of Corkscrewed, Fox Reality, Executive Producer Who Are You? for Fox, On The Nose for TVG, Co-coordinating Producer So You Think You Can Dance (USA) for FOX and Consulting Producer for SYTYCD Canada, guiding CTV in establishing the franchise.

His first love is theatre and has produced several musicals in the UK, including FOOTLOOSE West End and THE WEDDING SINGER Number One Tour, starring Jonathan Wilkes and Natalie Casey.
