Hilarious Musical directed by award winning Broadway Veteran Bill Castellino and starring Broadway veteran and Helen Hayes Award Winner Patti Mariano as Mother Superior!

The Harbor Lights Theater Company brings this hilarious musical sensation to Staten Island's Snug Harbor this summer starring a cast of Broadway veterans.

Nunsense takes place July 29 to August 14 at the Music Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden. Tickets are $35- $45. Visit www.hltc.org or call 866-811-4111 to purchase your tickets. 'Dinner and a Show' options are also available for select performances, catered by 'Celebrate at Snug Harbor'.

The show, which started as a line of greeting cards by Dan Goggin, has become a cottage industry for Goggin, with thousands of productions worldwide, several successful spin-offs and an upcoming Television series.

Nunsense presents The Little Sisters of Hoboken who ran a leper colony on an Island south of France. They have returned, only to find themselves in a bit of a financial pickle. With a variety of personalities and talents to tap into, the nuns are staging a variety show to raise money for the cause. Will Sister Amnesia get her memory back after the terrible accident with the crucifix? Will Sister Mary Leo be the first Nun ballerina? Will Sister Hubert ever get her star turn?

Nunsense will be directed by Bill Castellino (Cagney) and stars Broadway veteran and Helen Hayes Award winner Patti Mariano as Mother Superior. Gayle Turner, who replaced Stephanie Mills in the original Wiz on Broadway, portrays Sister Mary Hubert, second in charge.

Susan Jacks plays Sister Robert Ann, the street wise sister from Brooklyn. It is Jack's eights show with Director Bill Castellino

Amy Decker fresh from the Phantom of the Opera National Tour and local Staten Islander will play Sister Mary Amnesia who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head.

Nicole Sartor who played 'Rosalita' in Harbor Lights' West Side Story, returns to play Sister Mary Leo the novice who aspires to be the first nun ballerina.

Bill Castellino is a director and actor, known for Cagney, The Presidents, See How She Runs, Stop the World, I Want to Get Off, and Storyville. Castellino recently directed Harbor Lights' Gypsy. More than 20 productions directed by Castellino have been honored with awards.

Broadway veteran and Helen Hayes Award Winner Patti Mariano (Full Monty 42nd Street) plays Mother Superior Mary Regina. Mariano is best known to Harbor Lights audiences for her show stopping turn as 'Mazzeppa', the trumpet playing stripper in last Season's Gypsy.

Patti Mariano's Harbor Lights' shows include Music Man and Gypsy. Patti made her Broadway debut as a child in the original production of The Music Man starring and continued on Broadway as a teenager appearing in Bye Bye Birdie, Sail Away, and I Had A Ball. Broadway credits include George M!, Godspell, American Dance Machine and The Full Monty. Most recently she played Maggie Jones in the Broadway revival of 42nd Street, a role that won her the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Supporting Performer while on the national tour
