Frequent stage star Hamish Linklater - most recently seen on Broadway in Theresa Rebeck's SEMINAR last year and previously in the star-studded Shakespeare In The Park production of AS YOU LIKE IT in 2009 - has just joined the cast of the new David E. Kelley pilot THE CRAZY ONES, co-starring Robin Williams, Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Wolk.

Set in the world of advertising, the new single-camera comedy focuses on a father, Simon Roberts, (Williams) and daughter, Sydney, (Gellar) as well as the art director at the advertising firm, Andrew, (Linklater) who comes between them.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Linklater will play Andrew Kennedy, a neurotic and self-deprecating art director at the ad agency at the center of the potential series. He's an aspiring screenwriter and comic book writer and happens to be in love with Sydney."

THE CRAZY ONES will mark legendary writer/producer David E. Kelley's twentieth pilot to date.

MODERN FAMILY's Jason Wilner will helm the pilot episode. The series is planned for CBS Fall 2013 if it is picked up to series.
