The first time in eight years to be exact! The Swedish high street retailer confirmed to WWD that it would show on Febraury 27th as part of Parish Fashion Week.

H&M will debut about 25 looks from its F/W 2013/2014 women's collection under the creative direction of head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson. The show will take place at the Musée Rodin which has previously hosted shows for Yves Saint Laurent and Dior.

"We felt excited about the collection and we really wanted to show it," said spokesman Håcan Andersson.

H&M's last runway show was in New York in 2005. They have also hosted special event fashion shows for the launch of high end collaborations like Versace and Lanvin. It seems like perfect timing for the retailer to return to the catwalk with the launch of their brick-and-mortar stores for higher-end line & Other Stories all over Europe this year. Can't wait to see what kind of show they put on in February!
