Allen, Good Theater's Artistic Director, directs the production with set design by Craig Robinson, costume design by Justin Cote, lighting design by Iain Odlin, technical direction and sound design by Steve Underwood, Cheryl Dolan is the scenic artist/props artisan, and Stephanie Lalonde serves as the production stage manager.

The Broadway run of THE OTHER PLACE began on December 11, 2012 and opened January 10, 2013 for a limited run through March 3, 2013. Manhattan Theatre Club produced the show. THE OTHER PLACE received a Tony Award nomination for Laurie Metcalf as Best Actress in a Play. The show's world premiere took place off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre where it played an extended run. The original production was produced by MCC Theatre.

Here's what the New York critics had to say about THE OTHER PLACE: "By the end of Mr. White's taut drama...the authority that Juliana wears with as much confidence as she does that trim suit has been stripped away, exposing a woman as fragile as a delicate piece of glass and almost as transparent."-The New York Times; "White writes with great simplicity and discipline about a situation that defies discipline, defies neatness."-New York Magazine (Critic's Pick); "... a haunting drama ... so cleverly constructed that the nature and depth of the problem isn't revealed until the last shattering scene." -Variety

Juliana Smithton (Denise Poirier) is a successful neurologist whose life seems to be coming unhinged. Her husband (James Noel Hoban) has filed for divorce, her daughter (Kat Moraros) has eloped with a much older man (Jody McColam) and her own health is in jeopardy. But in this brilliantly crafted work, nothing is as it seems. Piece by piece, a mystery unfolds as fact blurs with fiction, past collides with present and the elusive truth about Juliana boils to the surface.

Still to come this season at Good Theater is the world premiere of LEGENDS: THE MUSIC OF BARBRA STREISAND April 8-26 and a return engagement of an expanded edition of UNDERWATERGUY 2.0 running in rep with LEGENDS. Previously this season Good Theater presented THE RAINMAKER, MRS. MANNERLY and REGRETS ONLY.
