Glenn Seven Allen will play Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar in February at the North Carolina Theatre.

Greg Ganakas will direct. No additional casting is known at this time.

Allen recently finished a run of Cabaret at Arena Stage in Washington DC as Clifford Bradshaw under the direction of Molly Smith co-starring Brad Oscar, Meg Gillentine, and Walter Charles. He also played Billy Bigelow in a concert reading of Carousel at NYU's Cap21 reading series. His other credits include A Fine and Private Place (York Theatre), The Light in the Piazza (LCT, Goodman Theatre, Intiman Theatre), Pirates of Penzance, Julius Ceasar (Utah Shakespeare Festival), The Ark (Village Theatre), Casino Paradise (Lincoln Center American Songbook). He has appeared in many concerts, including Joe's Pub, Minetta Lane, Rose Hall, NY Historical Society, Symphony Space, and the Ars Nova Broadway Spotlight.
