Curtain up, light the lights - it's opening night of Funny Girl and Rachel Berry is going out there a Broadway wannabe, and coming back - well, the greatest star, darling. Before we dive into an evening straight out of season one of Smash - (RIP Ivy Lynn) - let's have a round of applause for the one and only, Matt Tamanini for stepping in like a chorus girl getting to go on for the lead role for the first time last week! So, without further ado, let's get this show on the road - it's Broadway or Bust for Ms. Berry!

Rachel gets a blast from the past in a dream where she is back at McKinley performing "LoveFool" by the Cardigans to an audience made up of flashbacks of her friends, as well as bored beyond all reason Becky, Karofsky, Sue, and Jacob Ben Israel. Rachel awakes from her dream, completely horrified. Holy stage fright, Batman! Kurt tries to keep Rachel in check from her self doubt, putting her on a lock down from online and putting her in a love zone - only love for Ms. Berry before opening night. Back at McKinley, no that is not a typo, Sue corners Will and tries to get him to take her as his plus one to New York for Rachel's opening so that she can visit New York and to save her credibility. Will agrees to take Sue along, but only if she pays the too pregnant to attend Emma back and attends Rachel's big Broadway debut. Sue and Will get in touch with the Big Apple with a little "NYC" from Annie.

Along with Sue and Will, Tina has come to town to welcome Berry to Broadway, bringing more self doubt than support to the "love bubble". With a little dish about her life at school and a good old shout out to BroadwayWorld, Tina gets the cold shoulder from the love bubblers at the loft, sending Rachel fleeing the room. With that, Tina's love bubble pass is rejected as Mercedes whisks her away to her apartment. That night, Kurt awakes to find Rachel has broken her online locked down and is getting her Berry-hate on. And there goes the Berry love bubble, y'all.

Kurt breaks the news of the love bubble burst to their friends leading them to all try and get the diva out of her funk, but the diva is having none of it. Just as things couldn't get worst, Sue arrives being her usual self and is taking up residence in the loft and ants to see Rachel crash and burn. Just when Tina thinks nothing can get worse, Santana makes her glamorous return to New York, and takes a stab at dragging Rachel out of her funk. Santana lays down the law and drags up old reviews of Streisand's turn as Fanny, and seems to break the funk with her straight up Lima Heights ways. Rachel takes Santana's words to heart, and the diva is back in action! On opening night, Sue finds a possible love connection (Chris Parnell) while trying to scalp her ticket, as Mr. Schue sneaks a peek at the diva preparing and they share a moment with mentions of honoring Finn and about dreams coming true. Just as the curtain is about go up, Will gets a frantic call from Emma - she's gone into labor and its back to Ohio for Schuester! Rachel makes her trek to the stage, and the curtain goes up on a brand new Broadway diva.

Rachel performs "The Greatest Star" as her friends watch on, with Sue giving her earful thoughts to an apparent critic from the New York Times. Just as Sue seems to have had enough, so does her mystery scalper love connection and they both flee the scene as Rachel continues to kill it. Sue and her man of mystery connect over their mutual dislike of Funny Girl, and things take a turn as the man offers dinner and an escape. Kurt and Mercedes check in at intermission on the frantic diva, but the producer delivers some praise and nuggets of wisdom - putting even more pressure on Rachel to deliver. Who does he think he is? Max Bialystock? Sue and her new man get their dinner on, as the man in question whips up romance on top of Italian. Wine and love is bubbling over as Sue and her man friend dine, meanwhile Rachel continues to knock it out of the park - ending up dueting with Sue on "Who Are You Now". Rachel thinks of Finn, as Sue seems to have met her own man of her dreams. The love and praise fills the room after the show as Rachel soaks up love from her friends (present and absent) and her producer. Rachel decides to skip the opening night party in favor of a celebration at what seems to be one of the hottest gay bars in the city - a diva greets her gay public with a performance of "Pumpin' Blood".

The party ends at sun up with as the wait for the reviews subsides when Sue and her man reveal to have had a night of passionate love all over the loft. Rachel gives Sue an earful that seems to have been bubbling up for quite some time, before kicking Sue and her love out of the apartment. The reviews hit the newsstand as Rachel waits anxiously as her friends tackle the New York Times interview, which raves Rachel's performance as Fanny. Will calls and reveals that Emma had a boy named Daniel Finn, and catches up with his former students who are soaking in Rachel's big moment. Mario the man tempts Sue with New York City and love, but Sue is a Lima lady who isn't giving up the ghost yet. The two lovers' part with a kiss, as Sue departs to be the big fish in a little pond, leaving her man to Manhattan. Sue returns to Lima with a changed tune, but in the usual Sue way - and she lets her Sue's Corner viewers hear it.

Berry's a Broadway bombshell, Sylvester has taken MANhattan, and we got some serious New Directions feels. Next week - Glee welcomes the one and only Shirley MacLaine - who seems primed to make a star out of a former Warbler, while Rachel adjusts to Broadway stardom!

Until next week, Gleeks!
