Givenik.com has just welcomed the 400th charity to its fold, it was announced by Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters. Stand Up To Cancer is the most recent organization to benefit from the revolutionary way to go to Broadway (and save the world!). A program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Stand Up To Cancer is a new initiative created to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research that will get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives. SU2C's goal is to bring together the best and the brightest in the cancer community, encouraging collaboration instead of competition. By galvanizing the entertainment industry, SU2C creates awareness and builds broad public support for this effort. www.standuptocancer.org

Givenik.com will kickoff their support of Stand Up To Cancer with the Times Square Alliance, who is dedicating New Year's Eve 2011 to the program.

"We are thrilled to welcome Stand Up To Cancer as our 400th charity," commented Jordan Roth. "SU2C engages the entertainment industry to fight cancer and Givenik.com will amplify that mission by engaging theatergoers to support their fight simply by enjoying a great show."

Givenik.com is redefining theatergoing, one ticket at a time. The revolutionary service offers discount, full-price & premium tickets to dozens of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, as well as group rates to all shows, and donates 5% of the ticket price to the charity of the ticket-buyer's choice. Give money, save money, see a show-it's a win-win-win situation.

Give·nik (n.) 1. a person whose passion for charity is matched only by his/her passion for discounted theater tickets; 2. a user of givenik.com
