After a sold-out performance at the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, Italian singer Giada Valenti, will return December 14th to New York for a concert at 8:30PM at the Dicapo Theatre, 184 East 76th Street, New York, NY. She will give a sneak-peek of her new show "Tribute To Love", that she will film as a television special for PBS. Soon after this concert she will go back to Italy, where she will start to on the preparation of a show for the Italian television.

"Tribute To Love" is truly a unique and entertaining show that appeals to the romantic in all of us. Giada's great storytelling and emotional vocal skills takes her audience on a virtual trip through the most romantic places in Italy, as she performs timeless songs as "Speak Softly Love (theme from the Godfather)", "More" (song from the movie "Mondo Cane"), "Caruso", "Mamma", "Tell Me When/Quando Quando Quando" and many songs of her new CD "And I Love You So", like "Cinema Paradiso", "It's Impossible", "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me/Io Che Non Vivo Senza Te" and "La Vie En Rose". Her talent is that she can sing as well powerful, with a lot of energy, with songs like "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", but also with a very soft voice when she sings "First Time Ever I Saw You Face". All songs have new fresh arrangements.

It's a show that will make you fall in love with love again.

Musical Director is Mr. A.T.N. Stadwijk who was for 15 years MD of Harry Belafonte, on drums Obed Calvaire, on bass Saadi Zain, on guitar Adam Stoler.

Born and raised in Venice, Italy, Giada Valenti started to sing and play piano at the age of seven. She began touring professionally with a band by age twelve. She studied piano and music theory at the Santa Cecilia music school in Venice and got her music degree at the G. Tartini in Trieste. She also studied jazz with American singer Dawn Mitchell.

After her music got serious interest from a major record label, in 2004, she spend most of her time in the United States. In December 2005, Giada's self-released CD Italian Signorina was launched in the USA to great reviews. Italian Signorina featured the song "Caruso" that Giada performed on the red carpet at the Columbus Day Parade in 2005, 2006, and 2007 in New York City. Giada has performed a selection of songs of her new CD "And I Love You So" at the 2008 edition of this parade, and was featured on WNBC 4 New York.

Giada was named Woman of the Year by the Organization of Italian Charities In America at a ceremony in late October. Figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi used Giada's music in an ice show performance broadcast on NBC. Producer Sonny Grosso and musical director Phil Ramone selected Giada for a role in the Broadway musical Be My Love, based on the life story of tenor Mario Lanza. In 2008 iTunes has named Giada's version of the song Caruso as one of the 50 best songs in the Italian language.

Over the past two years, Giada also performed her own original shows La Dolce Vita Swings and Moonlight & Romance, in sold out-theatres in New York. During these shows, she takes her audience on a journey across the Atlantic, singing the most beautiful Italian and American love songs. She has brought these concerts to Europe and to other cities in the United States. Giada also performed at the Sergio Franchi Memorial Concert.
In June 2007 Giada made her the debut at the premiere cabaret room in the U.S.: Feinstein's at the Regency in New York City. With her show Tribute To The European Divas, featuring the music of such great female singers as Edith Piaf, Dusty Springfield, Shorley Bassey, Mina and Ornella Vanoni, she has become a regular performer at this prestigious venue.
