The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum announces the rare opportunity to sketch, draw and watercolor independently on the grounds of Georgia O'Keeffe's Home & Studio in Abiquiu today, October 7, 2013. Morning and afternoon sessions are available to experience such panoramic views as the Chama River Valley, the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the Abiquiu Mesa, the road to Abiquiu, and the scene within the walls of O'Keeffe's garden. Offered only two times per year, once in the spring and once in the fall, the Art Sessions present the unique opportunity to be inspired by the same setting and views that inspired Georgia O'Keeffe.

"This is a very special opportunity for any artist or fan of O'Keeffe," said Agapita Lopez, rights and reproductions director and director of the Abiquiu Home & Studio Tours. "We are pleased to invite artists of all levels to be inspired by the spectacular adobe home, studio and surroundings beloved by Georgia O'Keeffe against the crisp backdrop of autumn."
