On Monday, September 10, 2007, the company of Broadway's Chicago welcomes Golden Globe winner George Hamilton for a limited four-week return engagement as the criminal lawyer Billy Flynn.   Hamilton will appear through Sunday, October 7.  As previously announced, multi-platinum R&B superstar Brian McKnight steps into the role of Billy Flynn beginning Monday, October 8.

"Hamilton, who recently appeared on the big screen in Woody Allen's 'Hollywood Ending,' made his Broadway debut as Billy Flynn in Chicago in November 2001, and later reprised the role in June 2002," state press notes, "Prior to this latest return engagement, Hamilton will appear in the National Tour of Chicago at San Diego's Civic Theatre, September 4-9, 2007."

Hamilton's movie credits include Off Key, The Godfather Part III, Doc Hollywood, Love at First Biteand Zorro.

Now celebrating its tenth record-breaking year on Broadway, Chicago is currently playing at the Ambassador Theatre (219. W. 49th St.).

The regular performance schedule now through Sunday, September 9: Tuesday & Sundays at 7PM; Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8PM; Wednesdays & Saturdays at 2PM

New schedule beginning Monday, September 10: Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8PM; Tuesdays & Sundays at 7PM; Saturdays & Sundays at 2PM.

Tickets are scaled at $59 - $111.50 (all ticket prices include a $1.50 facility fee) and are available by calling Telecharge.com at 212-239-6200.  Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Ambassador Theatre Box Office. Regular Box Office hours are 10AM – 8PM Mondays through Saturdays, and Noon to 7PM Sundays.

The Broadway cast of Chicago currently stars Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart (through September 2), Tony Award nominee Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat as Billy Flynn (through September 2), Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.  Chicago veteran Tracy Shayne returns as Roxie Hart beginning Tuesday, September 4.
