Gavin Lee, Sean MacLaughlin and Sarah Pfisterer Star in Dick Van Dyke Tribute in Danville Tonight

Broadway Pops International (BPI) proudly announces the casting of DICK VAN DYKE, Put On A Happy Face! This special staged concert will take place in Mr. Van Dyke's hometown of Danville, Ill., with the Danville Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jeremy Swerling.

The show will star BPI artists Gavin Lee (Tony Award nominated Best Actor for Mary Poppins, Les Miserables), Sean MacLaughlin (The Phantom of the Opera, Evita) and Sarah Pfisterer (Show Boat, The Phantom of the Opera).

The concert will feature selections from Mr. Van Dyke's career, celebrity videos and other special surprises as a celebration of his 90th birthday.

Mr. Van Dyke is American actor, comedian, writer, singer, dancer, and producer with a career spanning almost seven decades. He is the older brother of Jerry Van Dyke and father of Barry Van Dyke. Mr. Van Dyke starred in the films Bye Bye Birdie, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and in the TV series The Dick Van Dyke Show and Diagnosis: Murder. He is a recipient of numerous awards in the entertainment industry, including five Emmys, a Tony and a Grammy. In 1995, he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. He received the Screen Actors Guild's highest honor, the SAG Life Achievement Award, in 2013. Mr. Van Dyke has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard.
