For one night only, Frances Ruffelle, brings her acclaimed solo show Beneath the Dress to the Menier Chocolate Factory, where she is currently starring in Pippin. The show features a funky six-piece band and a dazzling array of songs - from classics sung like you have never heard them before to brand new material that you'll want to hear again. The performance will take place on February 12 at 7:30pm.

Frances is beloved by audiences for originating the role of Eponine in Les Misérables in both in the West End and on Broadway, for which she won the Tony Award, Helen Hayes Award, Theatreworld Award and Outer Circle Critics' Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She also took part in the original workshop of Starlight Express and subsequently played the role of Dinah for Trevor Nunn in the show's original cast. Her many other credits include creating the role of Yonah in the original West End production of Children of Eden directed by John Caird and playing Roxie Hart in the West End production of Chicago.
