FoxSports.com Names Rob Neyer as Senior Baseball Editor

Rob Neyer, long-time Major League Baseball writer, sabermetrician, and author has joined FOXSports.com as a Senior Baseball Editor, it was announced today by Pete Vlastelica, Senior Vice President, Digital, FOX Sports. Neyer will make his FOXSports.com debut next week.

"Rob is one of the most talented, well-respected baseball writers in the country and we're thrilled to have him at FOX Sports," said Vlastelica. "Rob will have a significant presence on FOXSports.com and we're looking forward to having him share his unique insights across other Fox Sports platforms as well. We already have some exciting projects in the works."

Neyer joins FOXSports.com from SB Nation, where he served as National Baseball Editor for the past three years. Prior to that, Neyer spent 15 years covering Major League Baseball as a columnist at ESPN.com. Neyer began his career as a research assistant for groundbreaking baseball author Bill James, and later worked for STATS, Inc.

Neyer has written or co-written six baseball books, including Rob Neyer's Big Book of Baseball Legends, Feeding the Green Monster, and The Neyer/James Guide to Pitchers.
