Florida Rep's Education Department has announced the opening of Stephen Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS, JR.

All of your favorite fairy-tale characters meet and take the stage by storm in this whimsical original story playing April 18 at 7pm and April 19th at 2pm and 7pm in the ArtStage Studio Theatre.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the king's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and wind up changed forever. Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Rapunzel, and a few charming princes join in the adventure, and paths cross in an enchanting twist of events.
