Film Noir Star Audrey Totter Passes Away at 95

The Los Angeles Times writes that film star Audrey Totter passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013, after suffering a stroke and congestive heart failure. She was 95.

Well known for her "bad girl" roles in film noir projects with MGM from 1944 to the early 1950s, Totter appeared in movies such as The Postman Always Rings Twice with John Garfield, Lady in the Lake with Robert Montgomery and Jayne Meadows, The Unsuspected, High Wall with Robert Taylor, The Saxon Charm, Alias Nick Beal, The Set-Up, Any Number Can Play with Clark Gable, Tension and The Virginian.

Totter took a break from acting to start a family in 1952 but returned to the profession following the birth of her daughter.

She appeared on the TV series "Our Man Higgins", "Dr. Kildare", "Medical Center", "Perry Mason", "Hawaii Five-O", "Murder, She Wrote" and more.

Allison Williams Joins Charlie Day in Film KILL ME

Together with Margot, the 911 operator who took his call, Jimmy sets out on a mission to solve a vitally important whodunit.

Nick Jonas Film THE GOOD HALF To Be Released This Summer

Following its premiere at the Tribeca Festival last June, The Good Half, starring Nick Jonas, will be hitting theaters this July. According to reports, the film has been acquired by Utopia and, in partnership with Fathom Events, a limited release will include 900 North American theaters on July 23 and 25. Attendees will also get to see a virtual Q&A with Jonas and director Robert Schwartzman. A wide release is expected later in the year.
