Felicity Kendal & Simon Callow to Lead CHIN-CHIN UK Tour; Launches from Windsor in October

Two of Britain's best loved actors, Felicity Kendal and Simon Callow, are set to star in the bittersweet classic comedy Chin-Chin, playing two very different people who have one thing in common - the affair that exists between their spouses!

Set in burgeoning 1950's Paris, Chin-Chin tells of the often hilarious and ultimately disastrous effect of the affair, as the jilted couple rendezvous in a Paris apartment to set the world to rights, where they declare their independence in life, and in love. But out of these undesirable circumstances, special connections are forged, and the un-likely pair soon realise that they will leave the 'city of love' with more than they had bargained for!

Felicity Kendal is a National Treasure whose endearing performances have made her a staple of British theatre and television. From an adventurous childhood performing with her family's Shakespearean theatre troop as they toured India, Felicity has gone on to star in the West End, National Theatre and Old Vic. She is probably best known for her roles in the much loved television series The Good Life and Rosemary & Thyme but has also starred in many other series includingEdward VII; Solo and The Mistress. Theatre credits include: Fallen Angels at the Apollo Theatre; Amy's View at the Garrick; The Vortex at the Apollo Theatre and Feydeau's An Absolute Turkey at the Gielgud.

Simon Callow is one of the nation's best loved actors. He played Mozart in the original production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus and the title role in Goethe's Faust, all seven hours of it! He has appeared extensively with the RSC, National Theatre, and the Royal Court and in the West End. His celebrated one-man plays include: The Importance of Being Oscar; The Mystery of Charles Dickens; Being Shakespeare; Dr Marigold and Mr Chops. He has appeared in many films, including the hugely popular Four Weddings and a Funeral; Shakespeare in Love; Phantom of the Opera and Amadeus

François Billetdoux's 1959 play was a huge hit on Broadway and in the West End, where the original production starred Celia Johnson and Anthony Quayle. It has been translated into19 different languages. In 1979 Billetdoux was accorded 'classic' status when two of his plays entered into the repertory of the Comédie Française, the most respected theatre in France. He was also the winner of a Molière, France's top theatre award.
