Fashion Photo of the Day 9/12/13 - Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes looked like she walked straight out of the 1950's at the Michael Kors S/S 2014 runway show during New York Fashion Week. Holmes was dressed head-to-toe in Michael Kors and looked as if she was about to leap through fields of daisies. I am on the fence about this look. I think she looks absolutely beautiful but for my taste its a bit too Stepford Wives.

But that is just me. I think that particular shade of green can be very tricky but Holmes glows rather than looking sallow. Her makeup is fresh and flawless (duh - face of Bobbi Brown!) and I love the volume in the skirt, as well as the print. Overall though, it's just a bit too prim for me. I also was a little shocked to see this on Holmes because I don't usually think of her as this girly. I do love how she added a bit of a contemporary edge with the gold cuff and oversized clutch. If she had gone shoulder bag and pearls I would have lost it!
