This Balmain dress on Kate Hudson is one of those "more is more" examples. For me, everything about this dress is so wrong its so right. There is so much going on that my eye doesn't know where to go first - the flowers, the beading, the checked detail? But somehow it comes together in a harmonious way that just works.

Hudson, of course, looks effortlessly gorgeous with her hair kept simple and a soft smokey eye. She has never shied away from bold fashion and this dress is no exception. But I do wonder if it's heavy. Doesn't it look heavy to you? Despite it's ultra short length, all that detail and denim must weigh a few pounds! Regardless, Hudson was a showstopper at the premiere of Clear History in Los Angeles, proving her fashion prowess once again.
