Fashion Photo of the Day 10/3/13 - Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning looked stunning and sophisticated at the Louis Vuitton S/S 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week. I am usually not a fan of a sheer overlay maxi dress but this Louis Vuitton dress is definitely the exception. It is so cool how the dress looks like a sheer dress over a sheer dress - almost like Fanning is wearing a neglige under lace, but not in a trashy way. Top that with different criss-crossing piping and the dress is just beyond amazing.

Fanning played it cool by leaving her hair and makeup clean and simple. The dress could have been too dressy for the daytime if she over did her styling. Classic black clutch and some great chunky black sandals kept the whole look young and fun, while her lack of extra accessories put all the focus on the dress. My only complaint, and by complaint I mean jealousy, is that I fear this dress is only meant for taller, slender girls who lack a large bust. You definitely need long legs to get the full effect and unfortunately (for me) a larger chest would ruin the lines up top.
