Fang Gourmet Holds Tea Tasting Exhibition, 7/16-18

A tea tasting and tea culture exhibition will be presented by Fang Gourmet Tea from Friday to Sunday, 7/16/10 ~ 7/18/10 11:00AM-7:00PM at Sheraton La Guardia East Hotel Garnet Room, 135-20 39th Ave., Flushing, NY 11354.

Activities:
• Tea tasting and sampling from 50 varieties.
• Exhibition of tea culture and imported Asian tea ware.
• Experience the fun of pestling your own Lei Cha, the most well-known
wellness tea from Taiwan.
• Paint your own porcelain cup.

Heavily fermented Oriental Beauty Oolong is also known as "pong hong dei" or Bai Hao Oolong Tea. The tea leaves are a mixture of white, green, red, yellow and brown and thus has also been named "Five Colored Tea." The harvesting season of the Oriental Beauty Oolong is during the summertime. After being bitten by the Jacobiasca Formosana insect, the green leaves lose photosynthetic ability and transform into a golden-yellow color.
