"Fresh Meat" a new short play has landed a spot for the Manhattan Repertory Theatre's New Works festival in New York City. The production stars Warren Bub (The Mutilated- Off Broadway, Marlon Brando Sat Right There, Orange is the New Black), John Bermudez (Super Agent) and Alex Astort-Fabra (The Grand March) for two performances only on April 30th and May 1st respectively, 6:30PM at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, 303 West 42nd Street, New York.

Written and directed by up and coming playwright and actor, Hamza Zaman, and executive produced by Luis Christian Dilorenzi. This play follows the story of a pre-teen named Tony Zigman (Astort-Fabra) who discovers that the Scared Straight program is not what he expected it to be when he meets long term prisoner "Junebug" Gonzalez (Bermudez).

The production team include Chelsea Roth (Costume Designer/stylist, hair and make-up), Sherese Parris (Stage manager and Production asst.), Joyce Laoagan(Casting director and Production assistant), Yogesh Krishana (Sound Designer) and Manhattan Repertory's Artistic Director, Ken Wolf (Lighting and Stage producer).
