THIS IS OUR YOUTH by Kenneth Lonergan is headed to Broadway this summer, guided by producerScott Rudin and directed by Anna D. Shapiro. It will open at the Cort Theatre on September 11 and will star Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin and Tavi Gevinson. The cast met the press just this morning, and BroadwayWorld was on hand to bring you photo coverage - check out a first look below!

THIS IS OUR YOUTH was originally produced by The New Group at the Intar Theatre in 1996, featuring Josh Hamilton, Mark Ruffalo and Missy Yager. It went on to play the Douglas FairbanksTheatre in 1998, followed by a popular run in the West End and its Australian Premiere in 2002. The plot follows a group of privileged and foolish young adults in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 1982.

Cera and Culkin appeared together in a 2012 Australian production of This is Our Youth. Cera is well known for his role on the TV-to-Netflix comedy series Arrested Development. Among his film credits are This Is the End, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Juno, Superbad and more. Culkin also appeared in Scott Pilgrim with Cera; his other film credits include Movie 43, Paper Man, Igby Goes Down, The Cider House Rules, She's All That and more. This will be Gevinson's stage debut; she is an 18-year-old recent high school graduate from Oak Park who runs a super-popular online fashion magazine called Rookie.
