On Sunday, August 7th at 9:30PM, at Joe's Pub, A once-in-a-lifetime concert benefiting this year's World AIDS Day Concert will be presented. FLOPZ will feature songs you might have heard and songs you probably haven't from some of Broadway's most notorious blunders.

Though much of Broadway is brilliant, wonderful and always-successful; it just so happens that sometimes a Broadway show doesn't do well. Oftentimes a show's score is the only strong component of the production. FLOPZ will showcase some of Broadway's finest songs that you've never heard, as performed by Broadway's brightest talents.

FLOPZ will feature performances by Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy), Tony Award-Nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Sara Gettelfinger (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Tyler Haynes (Sweet Charity), Tony Award-Winner Cady Huffman (The Producers), Natalie Joy Johnson (BARE), Queer Eye's Jai Rodriguez, and several others. The evening will be musically directed by musical theatre guru, Michael Lavine and produced and directed by Jamie McGonnigal (Pippin, Snoopy and Children of Eden Concerts).

This evening will benefit The Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundation and this year's World AIDS Day Concert to be performed Monday, December 5th. Last year's World AIDS Day concert of Stephen Schwartz's Pippin featured performances by All My Children's Cameron Mathison, Charles Busch, Billy Porter, Laura Benanti, Michael Arden, Rosie O'Donnell and a return to his Tony-Award winning role by Ben Vereen.

Immediately following the concert will be a party at Joe's Pub. No cover, but a portion of the bar will also be donated to The Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundation.

All seats for FLOPZ are $20. Tickets available at The Public Theater box office or through Telecharge: www.telecharge.com or 212.239.6200.
