One of the world's favourite musicals, Fiddler on the Roof, dances onto the Lyceum stage from Tuesday 18 until Saturday 22 March, starring Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky in the 70's TV series Starsky and Hutch) in the lead role of Tevye.

Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood (Strictly Come Dancing) and produced by Music & Lyrics Ltd (High Society, The King and I), this award-winning show is a new production of one of the most popular and beloved of all stage musicals.

Filled with memorable songs including If I Were a Rich Man, Matchmaker Matchmaker, Sunrise Sunset, To Life and Tradition, the story follows Tevye, played by Paul Michael Glaser, whose headstrong daughters decide that they want to marry for love, rather than being told what to do by other people. What are Tevye, his wife and their fellow villagers to do?

Completing the cast alongside Paul Michael Glaser are Daniel Bolton (Fyedka), Steven Bor (Perchik), Jennifer Douglas (The Fiddler), Paul Kissaun (Lazar), Liz Kitchen (Yente/Grandma Tzeitel), Karen Mann (Golde), Tarek Merchant (Avram), Eamonn O' Dwyer (Mordcha/Constable), Emily O' Keeffe (Tzeitel), Michael Paver (Mendal), Claire Petzal (Chava), Neil Salvage (Rabbi), Liz Singelton (Hodel), Jeff Smyth (Sasha), Jon Trenchard (Motel) and Susannah van den Berg (Fruma-Sarah). Other roles are played by Matthew Hinchliffe and Lilly Howard.

Fiddler on the Roof comes to the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 18 - Saturday 22 March. Tickets are priced £19.00 - £34.00 (concessions and group discounts available) and can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office on 0114 249 6000, in person and online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk.
