Following the acclaim that surrounded his first two live shows featuring the likes of superstars Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps and Tim Tebow, golf's funnyman David Feherty will join the thousands of golfers descending on Orlando, Fla. next week for the annual PGA Merchandise Show to host his first live show of 2013 on Golf Channel. Feherty Live will be shot in front of a live studio audience at Hard Rock LIVE at Universal Orlando Resort and air Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. ET.

The next live installment of Feherty's critically acclaimed Golf Channel series will take place on stage in front of a packed house and will include appearances by European Ryder Cup hero and brash Englishman Ian Poulter, golfing legends Lee Trevino and Gary Player, and celebrated swing coach Butch Harmon. And, in Feherty's inimitable Style and evidenced from past live performances, he may also have a few surprises up his sleeve.

Feherty, whose series has been described by The New York Times as "a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson," has been dubbed "one of the funniest men in the game" by Yahoo! Sports. The off-beat humor and compelling interviews that have become a Feherty trademark will be on full display during one of the busiest weeks on the golf calendar. Feherty Live airs on the eve of the annual PGA Merchandise Show, which attracts thousands of people from around the world who work in the golf industry.

"David's quick wit has proven to be a real drawing card for these live shows, but he also delivers moments with real heart in his interviews," said Golf Channel President Mike McCarley. "The energy of the live audience and their reaction to the surprise moments have played a large part in the success of the previous live shows at the Super Bowl and Ryder Cup. We look forward to this next Feherty Live special for a live audience of passionate golfers during one of the biggest weeks in golf."

Englishman Poulter, one of the heroes of Europe's history-making, come-from-behind victory at the last Ryder Cup, is a self-made golfer and one of a few who is a member of the world's top-two tours - PGA TOUR and European Tour. Known for his eccentric fashion sense and spiked hairstyle as much as his play, he has been ranked as high as number 5 in the world rankings. Trevino has been one of the greatest shot-makers and most-loved personalities in the history of golf. Raised in poverty, he overcame the odds and forged a career that carried him all the way to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Player, also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, is known as one of the best golfers of all time. During the three-decade boom of golf from the 1950s through the '70s, Player joined Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus as one of "The Big Three" golfers of this era. A native of South Africa, the "Black Knight" was a nine-time major championship winner. Harmon is one of the most famous golf instructors in the world. A former player and son of 1948 Masters Champion Claude Harmon, Butch has tutored some of the most successful golfers ever to play the game like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Greg Norman and Ernie Els, as well as up-and-coming superstars Dustin Johnson, Nick Watney and Adam Scott.

MCA recording artist and country singer-songwriter Josh Kelley will return as musical guest for Feherty Live in Orlando. Kelley is best known for the top-5 hit "Amazing," but his music has been incorporated into TV shows, such as MTV's The Hills, ABC's Brothers and Sisters and CW's Smallville. Kelley is having success in Nashville with his hit "Georgia Clay" from his debut country album. He's also an avid golfer who played golf at the University of Mississippi - where he was a roommate with Eli Manning - and remains a single-digit handicap.

The third season of the popular Feherty series will debut on Monday, Feb. 25 at 10 p.m. ET, and will be highlighted by interviews with the "Golden Bear" Jack Nicklaus and fellow golfers Phil Mickelson, Paul Azinger and Billy Casper; legendary college basketball coach Bobby Knight, PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem and CBS Sports commentator Jim Nantz, among others.

The first episode of Feherty debuted in 2011 as the most-watched premiere for an original series in Golf Channel history, and over the span of two seasons has featured a variety of guests, such as former President Bill Clinton, basketball Hall-of-Famer Bill Russell, real estate magnate and Reality Show star Donald Trump; actors Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson; and golfers Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, Greg Norman and Tom Watson.
