Andy Mientus, who made an exciting TV debut last season as Kyle on NBC's Smash, has landed a role on FX's Charlie Sheen comedy Anger Management. Industry sources say that Mientus will play a potential love interest this season to Patrick, who is played by Mientus' real life beau, Michael Arden.

He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patient regulars each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison. Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Barry Corbin, Michael Arden, Derek Richardson and Noureen DeWulf co-star. Bruce Helford is Executive Producer/Showrunner.
